The bar chart illustrates the changes of internet usages in different places in the years between 1998 to 2004.
Overall, it is evident that the people used more internet at home whereas at the libraries are used less for internet surfing.
Moving towards a more detailed analysis, in 1998, the internet was used higher than other sources which was about 56 percent. However, the percentage started declining steadily for work, college and library. These sources percentages were approximately 27, 20 and almost 11 percent respectively. In addition, in 2020, the internet accessed from home decreased almost 48 percent, places like work and college remained constant but there was a sharp increase for using the library.
Furthermore, in 2002 and 2004, there was a sharp increase using internet from home, approximately 50 to 57 percent. Nevertheless, the internet accessed from home and work were around 25 to 23 percent whereas surfing from work and college in 2024 declined a bit. People started using more internet from library in 2024 which was almost 3 percent higher than the year of 2002.
