Overall, Brisbane had significantly higher temperatures when compared with Canaberra. In contrast, Canaberra had more rainy days between June and October.

The highest temperatures recorded each month was always in Brisbane. The highest and lowest temperatures in Brisbane in January were, about 27 degrees and 21 degrees, respectively. the climate then became generally colder mid year reaching around 11 degrees in June. Canaberra had lower temperature than Brisbane with the weather reaching as low as approximately 1 degree in June and July.

Brisbane had almost double the amount of rainy days in Januart with 12 days. Numbers inclined a little to 14 in February and March, then a steady decline began reaching about 7 days in June, July, August, and September. Conversely, Canaberra had more rain in these months with exactly 10 days every month.
