The line graph shows how much water was used globally from 1900 to 2000; meanwhile, the table illustrates the consumption of water consumed in Brazil and Congo in 2000.
Overall, It is clear that there was a significant upward trend in the figure of sectors between 1990 and 2000, with ranking first by Agriculture. It is noticeable that Brazil and Congo experienced a comparison of three factors in 2000
With regard to the graph, there was a significant growth to peak at 3000km3 at the end of the period despite beginning with just 500km3. However, the global use of water for Industrial use also remained stable from 0km3 before increasing rapidly to approaching 1300km3 from about 1950 to the end. Finally, Domestic use least consumed water among three categories, correctly with 0km3 before the rise to approximately 500km3 in 2000, as high as the starting figure for Agriculture.
In the year 2000, the population of Brazil and Congo were 176 million and 5.2 million, respectively. Moreover, the consumption of water per person in Brazil was 359 m2, which was much higher than in Congo with just 8m2 in 2000. This explained that the reason the figure for irrigated land in Brazil was 285 times as high as the figure for Congo, between 26,500km2 and 100km2, respectively.
