The bar chart compares the rate distribution of exporting citrus fruits of three leading countries in 2012, divided into four sections : oranges, lemons, grapefruits, and others.
Overall, the highest exportation of oranges, lemons, grapefruits, and others were South Africa, Turkey, South Africa, and Mexico, respectively.
Oranges, and lemons were exported in greater quantities compared to others. About 1000 metric tons, around 900 metric tons, and approximately 700 metric tons of the former were shipped from South Africa, Egypt, and the United States, in that order. In terms of lemons, there were roughly 500 metric tons of the latter Turkey exported, closely followed by Mexico (just under 450 metric tons), and the amount was solely around 250 metric tons in Argentina.
Grapefruits, and other types of citrus fruits accounted for the lower proportion. Regarding grapefruits, South Africa, and the United States exported roughly 225 metric tons simultaneously, which was much higher than that of Turkey (just over 175 metric tons). Turning to other citrus fruits, the amount of citrus fruits in Mexico was under 450 metric tons, far surpassing the figures of the United States, and Israel (about 20 metric tons).
