The given bar chart compares the percentage of women unemployment in England, Wales, Scotland and Nothern Ireland between 2013 and 2014.
Overal, it is clear from the graph that the proportion of jobless female in England, Wales and Nothern Ireland decreased while that for Scotland only increased through a year. Among all countries of the UK Nothern Ireland had the lowest percentage for women who were not working in 2014.
In terms of England, it had the highest portion at 6.8% in 2013 which declined slightly to 6.5% after a year. Even though the rate of unoccupied female in Scotland was 6.1% for the first year, it grew to 6.7% in the second year.
Turning to Wales and Nothern Ireland, they both had almost the same girls unemployment percentage with the difference of 0.2% in 2013 (5.4% and 5.6% respectively). However, the percent of Welsh workless women dropped minimally to 5.0%, whereas the figure for Northern Ireland had fallen remarkably by 1% (to 4.6%) one year later, having the least precentage of unemployed female among all the UK countries.
