In 2004, the percentage of French teachers increased slightly from the previous year. English teachers increased slightly by 40 percent. In 2005, the number of English teachers approached 50 percent. French teachers increased again and exceeded 70 percent. The percentage of English teachers continued to decline steadily in 2006 and 2007, falling below 30 percent. The number of French teachers dropped slightly below 70 percent in 2006, but then showed a significant increase again in 2007, approaching 80 percent.
In conclusion, over the years the need for English teachers has decreased, while the need for French teachers has increased. Although they were close to each other in the first years, the difference in the graph increased over time.
