The line graph illustrates the energy consumption by fuel in the United Kingdom from 1978 to 2038.
Overall, the number of energy consumtion by fuel in petrol and oil is the most popular throughout the whole timeframe.
In 1978, the number of energy consumption in petrol and oil was 35 quadrillion units. It was slightly fluctuated at the beginning before rising steadily to 50 quadrillion units in 2038. In addition, there was a similar pattern in the number of energy consumption in coal and natural gas throughout the whole period. In 1978, the amount of energy consumption in natural gas was 20 quadrillion units but the energy consumption in coal was just above 15 quadrillion units. Both of them were slightly fluctuated at the beginning. However, there was a stead increase in the consumtion in coal to 30 quadrillion units in 2038. In contrast, the number of consumption in natural gas continued decreased to 25 quadrillion units in 2038.
Nonetheless, there was a similar pattern in three types of energy consumption. In 1978, there was around 3.5 quadrillion units in consumption. Three lf them were steadily increased to between 3.5 to 7.5 quadrillion units in 2038.
