The given bar chart displays the waste recyling ratio of a town in the year 2000, 2005 and 2010.
Overall, it is clear that most catagories showed an upward trend over the period, while one remained relatively stable.
In the year 2000, plastic was recycled the least with 10% of rate only whereas the percentage of cans, paper and metal remained similar with approximately 12%. The reuse of waste in 2005 also had few rates with plastic at 12%, cans at almost 11% and paper at around 19% which are all below 20%. That said, drastic rise in the cycle of metal waste can be seen in this year with nearly 30%.
Additionally, year 2010 experienced the significant rise in the process of recycling, with about 20% of recycling on paper, cans at nearly 35%, paper just below 30% and metal at highest with 40%. Therefore, the least recycled product was plastic in the year 2000 and the most reused waste tend to be metal in the year 2010.
