The graph below illustrates the consumption of fish and various kinds of meat in a European country between 1979 and 2004.
Overall, fish consumption remained the lowest on the graph between 1979 and 2004. However, in the beginning year, the grams per person per week of lamb was higher than that of chicken. After this year, chicken increased significantly, and the rate became the highest in the group. On the other hand, the lamb rate decreased substantially. If we look at the beef rate, it was the group leader between 1979 and 1985. However, it diminished.
Beef and lamb were consumed almost the same in 1979, and their consumption grams were approximately 150. However, chicken grams rose to 250. On the other hand, lamb grams dropped almost 50 grams. Fish grams were stable in these years; however, we can see low decline. Beef grams decreased significantly, they started at 220 grams, but decreased to 110 grams.
