The given line graph presents the amount of sea animals and livestock which European consumed in grams per person per week from 1979 to 2004. It is worth noticing that the number of beef, lamb, and fish had decreased, while chicken had increased in the 21st century.
Getting back to the details, beef had around 220 grams in 1979. In 1981, this figure went down to about 50 grams. However, in 1983 showed a peak of 240 grams. After that, the numbers dramatically slumped until 2004 about 100 grams. In addition, people consumed lamb at 150 grams in 1979. While, in 2004, there was a steep decline, with around 60 grams. Going back to looking for fish, in 1979, the proportion of fish had given by about 60 grams. Whereas, it had slightly decreased in 2004 of 10 grams.
On the other hand, in 1979, the figure for chicken was 150 grams. In 1989, the number was the same with beef by 200 grams. In the next year, people who consumed chicken had beyond beef. The figure continued to increase until 2004, with 250 grams.
