Overall, the proportion of all universities saw an upward trend albeit at varying degrees throughout the years. Even though the share of Bristol increased slowly, it was the lowest university in each year, whereas, Oxford stood out among other universities with consistently higher figures in the final year.

Focusing first on the figures of London and Cardiff – increasing figures, the former started at 5% in 2000, the latter increased from 10% in 2000 to 20 and 14 respectively. Interestingly, Bristol started from about 6% in 2000, and this was followed by a slight rise to roughly 8% in 2015.

Looking at the details, Bath grew from approximately 7% in 2000, to roughly 12% in 2015, considerably low than Oxford, with almost 13%. Starting at just 14% in 2000 the percentage of Oxford rose to 25% in 2015. Cambridge started at just 15% in 2000, a figure that then grew to about 23% in 2015.
