The line graph illustrates the count of overseas tourists who traveled to the USA, France, and Japan, while the table demonstrates the mean expenditure per traveller from 2000 to 2020.
It can be clearly seen that in 2000, about 22 million people visited Japan. Interestingly, this figure inclined sharply to 60 million after two decades. In 2000, most individuals travelled to the USA, 60 million. Till 2020, this number escalated to 65 million approximately with few fluctuations. To France, number of international visitors was 44 million in 2000 and this figure peaked at 75 million in 2020.
In terms of spendings, travellers to the USA spent $1000 USD in 2000, whereas tourists in Japan and France spent $750 and $850 million USD, respectively. After a decade, outlay of travellers increased by 100,100 and 50 USD in the USA, Japan, and France ,correspondingly. Expenditure in the USA experienced a decline by 50 USD in 2020, whilst in France outlay was 950 USD and in Japan it was 1000 USD.
Overall, it is apparent that travellers to the USA increased modestly but inclined drastically to Japan and France. Also, expenditure surged with time in the nations excluding the USA.
