The line graph represents the number of foreigners visiting coasts, mountains and lakes in Europe changed from 1987 to 2007.

Overall, it can be seen that mountains were less popular than lakes and coasts a bigger part of the interval. At the same time coasts can be considered as the most popular areas. They were slightly under the lakes from 2000 to 2002 but remain the leaders of the interval.

A more detailed look at the graph reveals that from 1997 to 2002 tourists were more interested in visiting lakes. In 5 years, the number of foreigners visiting lakes jumped to approximately 75000 but then began to decline sharply and decreased 50000 by 2007.

To sum up, it can be seen that the interest in mountains has changed the least. The coasts were getting more popular every year. And the lakes had a sharp rise and an equally sharp fall to the previous number of visitors.
