The pie chart compares the changing trends of online shopping for four different retail sectors electronics and appliance, food and beverage, home furnishings and video games in 2008 and 2010.
One striking feature of the chart is that electronics and appliance was the highest sales in 2005 where as food and beverage had the largest sales amount in 2010.
Looking at the details, electronics and appliance stood at the first place accounted for 35% in online retail sector sales for America in 2005. On the other hand, video games had the least sold, it recorded with just under 20 percent, after two years, it increased to 5 percent.
The pie chart shows the downward trends of electronics & appliance and home furnishing, it declined from 35 percent to 30 percent and 25 percent to 15 percent respectively. Conversely, the other two categories had upward trends of online sales, both increased slightly 5 percent in video games and 10 percent in food and beverage by 2010.
