Overall, while boys had higher figures for playing football and basketball, a large number of girls prioritized participating in other activities.
About 14% of boys went to the swimming pool, whereas the higher proportion was accounted for by girls, at just over 15%. Notably, the figure for football in boys was by far the highest among all categories, constituting 20%, which outnumbered that of girls by four to one. In addition, the lowest rate was represented by the figure for netball in boys, at only shy of 5%.
The volume of playing basketball in both genders hovered slightly above 5%. Meanwhile, girls preferred playing no sports rather than boys, with respective figures being 4% and 5%.
