Singapore began lower at around 15% in 1961. It then rose sharply to 30% in 1971, before dropping in 1981 to 25%. After reaching approximately 36% in 1991 and experiencing a slight decrease in 2001, it increased again to almost 40% in 2011.
Regarding the Philippines, it started at around 7% in 1961 and showed gradual growth to about 8% in 1971. It then rose steadily to approximately 10% in 1981 and reached 15% in 1991. From 1991 to 2011, it increased gradually to about 17% and continued to rise steadily, reaching nearly 20% by the end of the period.
Similarly, Malaysia began at around 2% in 1961. It surged significantly to about 10% in 1971. From 1971 to 1991 it continued to increase, reaching 15% and remained relatively stable throughout the period.
