While Spain accounted for the highest figures across most criteria, the opposite was true for Belgium, which generally recorded comparatively lower values. All female members of parliament in five European countries surveyed showed an overall upward.
In terms of the major categories, Germany emerged as the leading group, recording notably high figures in nearly all aspects surveys. The femal members of parliament stood at 31 percents, which was approximately 4 percents higher the amount recorded for Spain. Similarly, the Belgium also remained remarkably high at around 37 percents . These values were significantly higher than those recorded for the remaining groups.
By comparsion, Iraly and UK accounted for relative more modest percentage of female members of parliment levels overall. In UK although femal members of parliment recorded a remarkably high value at 17 percents. Notably, a striking contrast was observed in Italy approximately at 3 percents.
