In 1994, Italy and Spain recorded the highest unemployment levels, both at around 11-12%. In contrast, Japan and the United States had the lowest figures, at approximately 3-4%. By 2004, unemployment in Spain declined noticeably to about 8%, while Italy also showed a moderate decrease.
Regarding the remaining countries, Germany experienced a small rise in unemployment, increasing from roughly 6% to around 8%. Similarly, France showed a slight growth. On the other hand, the United Kingdom and the United States saw minor reductions in their unemployment rates over the ten-year period.
