The line graph provided offers insights into the percentage of population in four different cities, including the USA, Korea, China and India over the 60-year period, from 1970 to 2030.
Most strikingly, the figures for all cities experienced upward trends after the period surveyed. Moreover, the figure for the USA will be the highest in most of the years.
As far as the USA is concerned, the figure initially stood at 70%, which was higher compared to that for Korea, with 40%. The period from 1970 to 1990 witnessed an increasing pattern between the latter and the former. After that, the figure for Korea (73%) was dwarfed by that for the USA (82%) by approximately 9%. The disparity then will be narrowed to 0% in 2030, with 90% for each.
Regarding China and India, there were little to no differences between the figures for these two nations in the first ten years, with 20% for each. From 1980 to 1990, while the figure for India increased to 30%, that for China remained intact. The year 2000 witnessed the figure of the latter (44%) overtaking that of the former (33%) by 11% to rank third. The disparity then will be widened to 29% in 2030, with 38% for India and 67% for China.
