The bar graph provides information about the percentage of families with internet access both rural and urban in Europe.
Overall, families living in the city has more access to internet compared to those who are living in the far flung areas, as we all know that compared to the rural, the busiest area is located in the mainland where in majority of business, education and leisure activities are concentrated. There are some located in the rural areas that depends on the type of business.
In details, there is a steady increase in the number of people using the internet both urban and rural, however, there is evidently a huge difference in terms of number, to further explain, the highest gap in percentage between the two sectors was around 35% in year 2011, the lowest figures in rural area is from year 2008 around 2% and with the highest of 36% in year 2011. Urban sector on the other hand, has a starting percentage of 12% which is also their lowest point and there highest figure was on 2013 estimated to have a 54%.
