The line graph illustrates which kinds of transportation tourists to New Zealand from five difference nations used during 2004. Overall, the most popular type of movement was car, except for Japanese, who preferred to use air and coach more. By contrast, air was the least used kind of movement by most tourists.
Regarding the tourists from Europe, usage of air and ferry had identical figures for British people, at 35% both, compared to around 25% and 47% of German, respectively. As for coach, figures for that made up approximately 20% for both nationalities, while car was more famous, accounting for 60% of British individuals and just over 50% of Germans.
Regarding the other countries, those who traveled by air and coach stood at over 50% among Japanese travelers, while those among Korean tourists were at and 40%, respectively. However, those from the latter nationality accounted for more when comes to car, 50% compared to about 25% of Japanese. Figures for ferry for both comprised around 10%. With regard to Australian tourists, all figures except for car made up approximately 10% on average, while that of car was at around 45%.
