Overall, the popularity of different means of transport varied greatly among tourists coming from different nations. For instance, while many Germans used ferries to get around, a very small proportion of Koreans were interested in that form of transport.

Many British people made their journeys by cars, adding up to about 60 percent of the total, in contrast with those from the same nation who took advantage of coaches. The majority of Germans travelled by either cars or ferries, making up almost half of the total, as opposed to the people from Japan who mostly travelled by air or coaches.

Cars and coaches were Korean people’s favorite means of transport, with the average of 37 percent, but a surprisingly low number of them were interested in ferries. Australians, compared to the tourists coming from Korea, had a relatively greater percentage of them interested in ferries, at roughly 12 percent.
