The line graph illustrates the number of people decided to leave in the country and the proportion of unemployed in Ireland between in a one decade year 1998 to 2008. In an overall perspective, it shows that the unemployed rates went down over distinct years while, the numbers of people leaving in the country experienced a minimal rose.
One of the main key features were the proportion of the unemployed people in the country went down over the years. In 1998, the unemployed rate was almost at 18 percent but in distinct years it was gradually went down from 1998 to 2000 and experienced a steady in years but it went up again by year 2008.
However, the proportion of people leaving in the country in the same year, there are only marginal changes. Between year 1998 and 1990, it experienced a dramatically rise from 40,000 and it went up to almost 80,000. But, 1990 onwards it also experience a gradual changes and it end up over 40,000 number of people leaving in the country in year 2008.
