Overall, it can be seen from the graph that the amount of energy produced in all countries recorded a downward trend during the period.
In 1995, the percentage of energy generated by coal in Denmark was 60%, which was slightly higher than that of Germany, at around 55%. In the following years, energy produced by coal in Denmark continued to fall significantly to just 10% in the final year, followed by a considerable drop to just 5% in3007, then rise to 15% at the end of the period.
Looking at the other figures, the percentage of energy by coal in Denmark accounted for 35% in the first year, compared to just 30% in the data of France. In 1998, there were gentle declines to 30% and 25% in the proportion of coal energy generation by these two countries, respectively. Since then, this figure for Denmark and France stayed unchanged under at under 30%
