The given barcharts give information about the produced films and proportion of sales of tickets in a country in the years 1996 and 2006.
Overall, the share of released fantasy and romance films and sold tickets throughout the whole period remained as the lowest figure, compared to rates of other genres. It is clearly seen that most of the films have been made in drama genre, nonetheless, comedy films turned out to be the most popular among the audience.
As is evident from the graph, Drama accounted for a quarter percent of the total released films in the year 1996, however, only 15% of the cinema tickets have been sold in the same year. After a decade, the figure for drama films experienced a considerable growth by 10 percent, while the rate of sold tickets remained nearly unchanged, increasing only by 1%. The indicator of released comedy films and the tickets that have been sold in 1996 made up 20%. In 2006, this index has climbed to 25% for produced films and approximately to 23% for percentage of ticket sales.
On the other hand, percentages of produced films and sold tickets of fantasy genre in 1996, constituted to around 11% and 3%, respectively, and witnessed an upward trend after ten years standing at nearly 16% and 7%, correspondingly. The share of produced romance movies corresponded almost over 5% in both years, whereas the percentage of sold tickets of the same genre stood at 5% in 1996, and dropped by around 3% in 2006.
