In general, it is clear that Germany experienced a significant rise, Italy showing a decline by the end of the span; England fluctuated but ultimately increased.
Upon a closer look at attendance rates in Italy, Italy had the highest attendance, averaging approximately 35,000 spectators per match, followed the same trend as Germany at about 30,000, while England fell behind with over 21,000. However, by 1986, attendance in Italy had declined slightly to 35,000. Italy’s attendance decreased to around 30,000, while Italy’s attendance has decreased moderately by the end of the period.
Turning to the remaining data, Germany saw a substantial increase in attendance from 1986 onwards, of particular note that Italy by the early 1986, reached a peak approximately 36,000. England began to increase after low point reached a peak in 2004 approximately 30,000. In contrast, Germany’s attendance gradually increased above 33,000 in the same year.
