The line graph illustrates the proportion of three kinds of working adults ( travel to work, work from home, hybrid working) who were in the UK between January 2021 and April 2022. Units are measured in percentages.
Overall, the proportions of travelling to work and hybrid working among workers increased over the period, while for working from home, it declined. Travelling to work was the most widely used situation of working adults in Great Britain. At the start of the period, work from home was the most popular, but by the end, this figure was at the least.
With regards to the percentage of workers who were travel to work, it began at around 41% and then peked at just under 600% in April before falling gradually to about 45% in the last month. Likewise, approximately 13% of hybrid working was used as travelling to workplace in the first month, after which the figure slightly fluctuated and climbed to around 28% at the end of the period.
On the other hand, the proportion of remote working represented 34% before dropping dramatically to just over 15% in October. In the final month, it fell slightly at about 15% in July 2022.
