In 1995, the town was a much greener residential place with a great number of trees and some individual houses. The most noticeable feature is that the public park, located in the center of the town, was cleared and converted into an area for holiday homes and a car park. Moreover, hotels, which were next to it, were rebuilt into bigger ones. In the northeast corner, a farm land was demolished and transformed into a golf course, together with a tennis course.
On the left part of the map, a housing territory has been increased and, instead of sport clubs, the restaurants have been established. The fish market has been removed to give a place for new apartments, while a coffee shop has been relocated quite further on the east. Finally, in the south, morning fish boats were removed from the sea, giving the possibility for yachts to appear.
