The maps illustrate the changes that have taken place in science park from 2008 until today.
Overall, the park has undergone significant modification. It used to serve a small number of individuals at a time; however, following the redevelopment, the recreation ground’s capacity has grown, with all the new amenities, such as urbanization, transport, and cycle network facilities, along with an additional university hub, being carefully arranged to better serve the visitors.
In 2008, the innovation park offered very limited facilities. Upon entering the section, business units could be found on the left-hand side, while greenery is located on top of the entrance. There was also another side IT centre occupied below the gateway. The maps also featured a woodland at the rear of the IT centre. Tech centre leads to cyber security, joins the car park, and connects to Business units. The office and reception are occupied in the north-east. The railway passes underneath.
Today, the park has been modernized. The most notable change The IT Centre has been replaced by an Innovation Centre. A new Café and a Station have been added in the bottom right. The Cyber Security building no longer exists. At the top left, a Research and Development area has been added. Near the offices, there is now a University Hub. The business units remain, but the road and railway have been slightly adjusted. Trees and grassland areas are still present, keeping the park green.
