The maps delineate a redevelopment plan of an industrial area.
In general, this site will undergo radical transformation, with the destruction of industrial buildings in favor of residential ones. Additionally, in order to cater to residents, more amenities will also be built.
It is noticeable that a residential development will be carried out in this site. Looking first at the left-hand side, the former location of parking and storage will be utilized for seven bedroom houses. Similarly, at the upper section of the map, the entrance and reception area will be destroyed in favor of six more bed room houses. Furthermore, an apartment will take the place of the factory in the bottom right of the site.
There will be more amenities in this site to satisfy residents’ needs. In the central area, a yard will be demolished to make way for communal gardens. Besides, more private roads will be constructed to provide residents with easy access to different parts of the site. Areas dedicated to parking purposes will no longer lie to the west of the site, but rather be at the top right as well as in the south of the map, which is currently occupied by offices and a canteen.
