The maps illustrate the current layout and a new development project of an industrial site.
Overall, the actual area is to remain the same according to the plan, however, proportion of the individual sectors is about to change.
Today, the urbanized field consists of several different sections. Overlooking the Chinmey Road, there’s an entrance, surrounded by spacious yard, oppsite to which, in the Southern part of the community, six offices and canteen are located. In the right lower corner of the layout, the factory space is illustrated, standing at the edge of Pie Walk and Swallow Street. The left part of the property is mostly vacated, serving as a parking lot, neighboring with storage space.
Projections for the future are to impact the entire zone, filling it out almost completely with three small, 2-bedroom houses alongside Chimney Road. Two other accommodation buildings are to rise in the Western block, by Toe Lane, facing one another. The current industrial territory is to be replaced by apartments and parking area, leaving the space in the middle to be used as communal gardens and privated garages.
