The maps give information about how a bookstore has been arranged since 2000.
Overall, a discernible change has been observed in the rearrangement of several book genres to accommodate more seating places and beverage service.
Looking first at the map in 2000, upon entering the bookstore through the entrance on the left side of the plan, customers would immediately reach two sections, which were dedicated to travel and new books. A service desk was located on the right-hand side, while a long section of fiction books was positioned at the left wing and far left corner of the store. At the heart of the shop, there were three smaller bookshelves for art, hobbies, and cookery categories. Finally, customers could find non-fiction publications on the side of the service desk.
At present, the area for the service desk, traveling books, and new books has remained untouched. However, the area on the left wing and far left corner has been rearranged significantly to store books for art, hobbies, cookery, fiction, and non-fiction books, respectively. The central part of the store has been converted into a seating area with three tables and twelve chairs. Lastly, a new café section has been introduced on the right wing, where customers can enjoy drinking coffee while looking for their favorite publications.
