The plans delineate a transformation from a coal mine to a tourism attraction.
From an overall perspective, it is evident that there was a significant change in many areas of the location for recreational activities. The parking area and the underground entrance, however, remained unchanged during this period.
In the main area, the first waste tip was dug to construct a new track for drivers, compared to the second waste tip that was turned into a picnic area. On the left of two tips, there was a director board that existed before. Afterwards, it was replaced by a coffee shop. In addition, the parking lot for cars was completely cleared, leaving the area with just three amenities. Outside this area, the building that served as an office occupation and staff changing room was constructed into a museum. There is also a new children’s play area and lottery park just right under the fundamental area.
This evaluation reflects the location’s transformation from a coal mine that was primarily focused on work, to a more diverse place that serves the visitor’s demand.
