Overall, the plan of a city has experienced significant changes with the addition, replacement, and relocation of various facilities. The most noticeable changes have taken place in the center of the city.
In 1950, the city accommodated a total of 20000 people. residential area was located nearly in the north of the city, with a business district below. Besides, two major roads ran from the north to the south and from the west to the east respectively. In addition, there was a river flowing from the west to the northeast while an airport was in the east of the city. A government building was situated in the south and accessed by a bridge.
Currently, the population has increased to approximately 200000 residents, causing the residential area to expand in all directions while the business district also has been extended in the south. Besides, the river has been dammed, making its majority become a lake. In addition, two major roads have stayed the same while a new road has been constructed running from the southwest to the east of the area. The airport has been expanded towards the south and the government building remained unchanged while a new government building has been built in the south. Finally, the bridge has been extended to cross the new lake while a new bridge has been constructed crossing the eastern part of the lake.
