The image depicts two maps of Nelson, one from 2000 and one labeled "today." In 2000, the city centre is bordered by a train station to the northwest, a university to the north, an old market to the west, a port to the south, and a road running east-west between the port and city centre. In the "today" map, the city centre has a hall of residence northeast, university directly north, and new shopping centre north of the university. There is a new train station to the west, a bike rental scheme northwest of the city centre, a new covered market to the northwest, and a new shop west of the city centre. The port remains south, now with a restaurant and designated pedestrian area preceding bars and clubs to the southwest.
Given the complexity of the image, the above description may not be entirely accurate.

We can say that from 2000-th a lot of things changed and have made.At first, in Nelson 2000, we can’t see any stations for any kind of transportation.Hovewer behind city center, there is a few old markets,no pavement, no conditions for human activities.
But if we will look to Nelson now, we can say that since 2000s time there is a lot of changes. For example, there is appeared new builidings such as: hall of residence, shopping centre, restaurant and bars and clubs, with which new conditions for comfort have been made.Compared to old Nelson there is new train station, which shows new technology evaluation. And instead of empty city center, there was bike rental shchme. And lastly instead of simple car road, there was a sidewalk.
As we see, every year there was a little bit new construction and new changes, that illustrates technology inpact.
