The two maps give information about the developments that has been taken place at Colwick Arts Centre between 2005 and today.
Overall, the centre witnessed some noticeable changes and had a completely new look with more useful facilities both inside and outside, making it more attractive and a suitable place for visitors for events and exhibitions.
In 2005, there was a large useless wasteland behind the centre, but now an outdoor exhibition and and performance area has been constructed. A big stage has been built in the middle of the land which is surrounded by trees. In addition, there was a appearance of a cafe shop in the front of the centre and many tables has been added around outside for customers.
According to indoor area, one interesting change is that a new central exhibition area has been built in the center position. The information desk has still been unchanged. The concern hall and cinema, which were combined into a room ,have been separated in the right-hand side of the map and also increased in size, and the toilets have been relocated under the concern hall. At the same time, the two old galleries have been replaced by one new large gallery and moved to the left side.Furthermore, there are new facilities in the new layout, such as a drama studio, and two meeting rooms instead of one.
