Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the road system witness a striking transformations. Most noticeably, construction buildings, new facilities and industrial park.
Until now, the Huntingdon center surrounded by a ring road, separated from built-up area and railway station. In addition, the highway A1 connected to ring road by Brampton road running east-west. Meanwhile, the A14 highway can only be accessed through a round about on the A1 road, located near the airport to the north. Finally, there is a train station located near Brampton Road, which runs from the south through the construction area and exits toward the northeast.
In the future, the town center and built-up area around remained unchanged. Huntingdon will have the road system improve and expand. The Brampton road will have round about connecting to the ring road and the old A14 road. But in the future, the highway A14 new located near railway station to the south and will be connected to ring road. Although, this will reduce access to the newly constructed round about. Finally, a major change in the northeast, the airfield will be replaced by new industrial park and connected railway line.
