The two diagrams ilustrate the Current layout of the Center of Islip and a proposed plan for some developement in the future.

As we con notice, the new proposed plon involves moking a number of changes to the listip town Centre mainly in the shops on the north-side of the main road. There are no plans to change shops that are Situationed on the South -Side of the main road.

The most noticeable change from the existing to the proposed town Center plan is that a dual Carriageway will be built around the shops and will seperate the two housing areas, in addition, the main road will become a way only for Pedestrians.

in the proposed plan a bus station, a shopping Centre, a car park and a new housing area will be structured Instead of the north-handed shops, however the shops on the south side of the main road will stay the same as they are now. A new housing area will be built next to the park in the expanse of making the park smaller than it is right now, however, the school and housing outside of the dual Carriageway will remain unchanged.
