The bar charts illustrate how the art gallery ground floor changed in 2006 and at the current.
Overall, the art gallery witnessed major changes. In addition, some new facilities have been built and more rooms have been provided.
In 2005, there was a hall, entering through the entrance in the south of this place. The stairs were at the end of the hall, and in front of a reception desk. The exhibition rooms from 1 to 3 were allocated side by side on the east wing of this building. On the opposite side, a cafe was located in the upper west corner, next to Office. Meanwhile, the biggest room on the west wing was exhibition 4, taking up the entire southwest corner.
At present, a wheelchair ramp has been added outside the art gallery, leading to the entrance. The receptionist has moved to the middle of Grand Hall, which is convenient for visitors. A lift has been constructed to the top of this location, next to Stairs. The exhibition room from 1 to 3 has remained the same on the right- hand side. In the west wing, this side is the most noticeable change. The cafe has been made smaller and converted into a gallery shop. Besides, the gallery office has been demolished to make way for Vending machine. The exhibition room 4 has been divided into 2 rooms, including Children’s Area in the lower left-hand side corner and Temporary Exhibition next to the aforementioned room.
