the maps illustrate how the seaside resort of Templeton have transformed from 1990 to 2005.
previously, Templeton was covered by a large number of trees and houses. but over the time period, the area was modernized significantly.
the most noticeable development can be seen on the southwest section of the settlement, all trees and houses were replaced by a supermarket. Furthermore, the railway was extended along the coastline and passing through the river, with a ferry built at the southeast part. a factory was also established beside the railway station.
in the northwest side, majority of the place remained the same, with a few new buildings being constructed. to the east of the river, on the upper side of town, trees were cut down to build an airport and more houses. in addition, new houses were made in the centre of the town.
to conclude, a comparison of the two maps reveals a huge change, featuring less green and more urban living space than earlier period.
