The maps demonstrate how a habour changed from 2000 to the present day.
In 2000, two docks used for passenger ferries were located in the north part of the harbour, situated below a public beach extending to the further north of the land. To the southeast of the map, there was a disused castle on the east side of the public beach. As for the western part, there used to be a building for showers and toilets, a marina for private yachts which was next to fishing boats. Notably, one car park connected to the main road was located on the boundary of the harbor; the other was via the secondary road which was expanded to the lifeboat.
Regarding the harbour today, the location of the fishing boats and the marina has changed. While the path leading from the car park has turned to the main road. Close to the car park below are new showers and toilets. On the left of the lifeboat, new cafes and shops are built. Moreover, a smaller, new road expanding to the newly built hotel has its own private beach used beside it.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that various developments occurred in Porth Harbor, and one of the most noticeable changes is that the area of the docks was extended.
