The map illustrates the transformation of the seafront area in a town Darwin from 2009 to 2014. Overall, the coastline experienced a significance make-over, with the majority of changes took place on south side of area, where the industrial area has been replaced by green zones, whereas fishing area, school, convention center remained untouched. Additionally, area has become more accessible with the building a new harbor, and the expansion of footpath.
In 2014, the area represented mostly non eco-friendly zone, with big industrial zone located in south, nearby sea, and a little factory zone in the west-south side, next to the lake There were two swimming pools, right on top of each other, In addition, there was a school and a convention center conveniently connected to the road that runs alongside the entire area, ending at the fishing zone. The residential area had buildings located in the center of the town.
By 2014, the area has changed moderately , with town being more reachable by building the new harbor , and making new footpaths, that improved mobility. Industial area have been replaced by trees, and a new university center. Also, residential buildings doubled in number. A new swimming pool was build on the top of town, in addition to two other. Finally, fishing pool was left unchanged.
