The images compare the layout of the waterfront area of a town named Darwin in the year-2009 and its structure in 2014.
Overall, the area became more residential and accessible with the introduction of new residential buildings, a university, and a foot path and a harbour. Notably, an additional swimming pool and trees replaced a large industrial area.
In 2009, the industrial area occupied South-West of the map, to the north of which were three residential buildings. A lake, some trees, and a second industrial area were located near the center, surrounded by a foot path. There were two swimming pools to the left of the sea, between of which was a footpath, connecting the sea with the central area. There was a school to the left of the central area, with a convention center to the North-East and a footpath to the South.
However, by 2014, the waterfront area had undergone significant changes. The second industrial area made way for the additional swimming pool, while the new harbour was built in the southeastern corner. Three residential buildings appeared near previous residential buildings, to the West of which a university building was constructed. Moreover, replacing the industrial area by a lot of trees and the new foot path was a significant change.
