The given maps illustrate the current layout of a specific biology university, coupled with suggesting its future development.
It is clear that the campus is set to undergo major changes, most notably the transformation of the forest area in the North in addition to the erection of a new car park for staffs.
In terms of the upper university ground, all the trees will be expected to be mostly knocked down to make way for the two buildings of laboratory and office, while the road and hall for indoor sports will remain their original size and position. The central drama will plan to be converted into a music centre, whereas no change will be made to the central library, which is originally situated in the middle of the campus.
Concerning the other part of this map layout, a new employee’s car park will be constructed on the site where the previous lower left hand trees once stood. Meanwhile, both the teaching block and the lecture hall will be expanded by adding another adjacent building, the IT center will be enlarged and relocated towards the southeast area of the ground.
