The high street was occupied in the center. It divided Frenton, with a hospital, library and some trees locoated to the west, while a theatre and cafe and park situated on the other of street. While houses occupied in the east , the shops was in the southeast.
By 2012, the Frenton had changed considerably. The houses, shops and theatre flourished to blocks of flats, supermarkets and cinema, respectively. The cafe and park was replaced by hotel and golf course, while a flat was built in the North. Blocks of flats was constructed , which resulted in the disappearance of playing fields with trees. There was now a restaurant, where the bank stood. The the trees had gone and its place was technopark. However, the high street, school, library and hospital did not change thier older facilities, but hospital had doubled its size.
