Overall, the library has experienced significant changes towards modernization, with the reconfiguration of its layout and the incorporation of modern technologies, resulting in a more visitor-friendly environment.
As visitors step inside, the previously furnished central zone with tables and chairs has been transformed into a clear, unobstructed walkway. To the left of the entrance, a new computer room has replaced the former reading room for newspapers and magazines. On the right, a cafe now occupies the space once dedicated to an enquiry desk for such services as ticket purchases and book returns.
Continuing past the cafe, the adult non-fiction section has been converted into an information desk with self-service machines.
