The picture provides information on the changes that have taken place in Liverton docks, which opened in 1980, up to the present day.
Overall, it can be clearly observed that urbanization has occurred. Some old facilities were demolished and new ones built in their places.
To begin with, in 1980 portrayed a docks which full of several gigantic ships. Also, there are three warehouses in total. Between two warehouses in the north of the map and at the bottom, on the left side of the building, were cranes on each places. In regards to the changes, the Liverton docks turned into a tourist attraction where all the cranes were removed and a ship museum is docked in the west of the map. On the top of the diagram, the crane was placed with the new building for sailing club. Similarly, the crane in the bottom of the chart, was placed with hotel. Also, while the warehouse on the left turned into an Education center, the other now removed and became a kid’s playing area. On the other side of the picture, the old building that changes into an apartment is located in the middle of a hotel and parking lot. Moreover, it is interesting to note there are river walk in front of this buildings and the bridge that link the two side together are on the east.
