The two pictures show how much the coastal town, called Pentland, had changed from 1950 to 2007.
Overall, the whole town went through a massive change, the most noticeable thing is that they built a new cinema, swimming pool, more houses, and shops around the town, main road remains unchanged.
Looking in details, on the north west and north east sides, the Industrial area was demolished in 1995 to be replaced with multi-storey car parking. Near the car park, the new swimming pool and a park have also been added, six shopping centres were built along the main roads.
On the southwest and southeast sides, the grasslands were converted into housing with a new road, and the old car park is now moved to the western side. There are also eight shopping centres on both sides of the main road, a new cinema was built in the southwest in 2007.
