There is a comparison between two maps of coastal town, called Pentland, from 1950 to 2007.
Overall, it is evident that in 1950, the infrastructure of the town included only Roads, grassland and others. However, by 2007, a few more buildings occupied the whole land, making one of the modernized and overpopulated cities.
Looking at Pentland city in 1950, Roads were connected to each other, from north to south as well as east to west. Car parking area was placed in the east and Industrial area in the west. The sea exactly positioned to the north and also, grassland existed every corner of the city. It is imperative to note that there was nothing except for those which mentioned before.
Secondly, by 2007, Pentland town had a few changes, such as apartments, many shops and houses took place instead of car park and grassland in the north-east and south-east. Only cinema constructed in the sout-west of the town. Swimming pool, park and multi-storey car park were built in the north-west. Moreover, the sea has changed to yacht marina and two new roads crossed right and left of the yacht marina. Furthermore, Pentland coastal town became well-known and modern among other kinds of towns.
