The parents of your Australian friend Chris have invited you to a surprise birthday party for him. Write a letter to Chris’s parents, in your letter say why you think Chris will enjoy the surprise party. Explain why you won’t be able to attend the party and give details of a plan to see Chris at a different time.
Dear Mr and Mrs Collins, I just received the invite to my friend’s surprise party and I think it is a very great idea you are about to carry out for him.
Personally, I know Chris will love this birthday because he loves surprises and it is also a way of getting his reaction to him seeing what his family pulled off for him. It would be a fun party due to the fact that we both had a discussion regarding surprise birthdays and how we have never gotten one before. This can serve as a means of getting all his friends together to celebrate his new age. He is a very difficult person to surprise but I know putting this together will be a delight and would be a source of joy.
Moreover, attending the event will be hard due to my upcoming exams around that period of time which would restrict me from taking part in the celebrate. Although, plans to see Chris after towards have been made as I would be travelling down to his city right after my paper to honor Chris.
In conclusion, throwing a surprise party would be a good way for Chris to remember this new age and also celebrate with friends and it would be nice to get pictures sent to me
